Reflection: Both the Petcha Kutcha presentation and the Prezi Presentation were made by my partner and myself for our class presentation on Speech and Language Impairments. Throughout the semester, each group in the class did similar presentations until we covered the disability categories. Before beginning this class, if someone had asked me to name the disability categories, in all honesty I would not have gotten quite far. I had a huge learning curve ahead of me for this specific competency. After completing the PK and Prezi presentation, I feel I now have a much more in depth knowledge of Speech and Language Impairments, and strategies that can be implemented for success in the classroom. I feel that the PK and Prezi presentation combined show an in-depth knowledge on Speech and Language impairments that I learned in this course, which was then presented in an easy to follow format for my classmates to watch and learn more about the disability from.  As I listened to my classmates presentations each week, and read through their brochures, handouts, or Prezis, the one thing I always looked for were the tips and strategies proven and suggested by professionals and experts in each disability category. As a future high school Spanish teacher, I want to be prepared with strategies to help succeed with every student. These strategies are one of my biggest takeaways from this course.

For additional resources, I have provided the links to the Center for Parent Information and Resource website for each of the 13 categories of disabilities.
